Thinking of the size of Queensland and how massive the caravan and camping industry is, it’s easy to get lost down the rabbit hole trying to find the perfect caravan park for your next trip.

1770 CAMPING GROUND

This park is in the heart of the beautiful coastline of Seventeen Seventy. Guests can take a crack at fishing or catching their own mud crabs for dinner. The facilities may not be as kitted-out as other parks, but it boasts the best natural attractions uncanny to any others.

BIG4 ADVENTURE WHITSUNDAY RESORT

Located in Airlie Beach, this spot has a lagoon sized pool, Waterslide Park, a kid’s club, powered sites, accommodation and an animal park. The perfect spot for family fun. However, no pets are allowed at this park.  

BIG4 GOLD COAST HOLIDAY PARK

On the contrary to the previous park, this one is pet friendly. The catch is dogs are required to have validated vaccination certificates. But, you can find an off-leash section in the park which is dog friendly, equipped with a DIY dog wash and even a doggy-day-care. Drop your fur baby off the day while you go on a tourist activity.

For some family fun around the park you can enjoy the waterslides, poolside cabanas, dine-in at the restaurant, play Frisbee golf or make the most of the remote-control car track.

BIG4 INGENIA HOLIDAYS CAIRNS COCONUT RESORT

A tropical-themed caravan park with something for everyone. The park offers school-holiday activities for kids, summer pool parties, marshmallow toasting around a campfire during winter and a thrilling go-kart track.

DALRYMPLE TOURIST VAN PARK, CHARTER TOWERS

Just a couple kilometers off the historic mining center, you can make the most of Charter Towers. This park offers first-class and clean facilities, which they have rightfully earned awards for.

For a lazy day you can relax by the pool and sunbathe your worries away.

FRASER COAST TOP TOURIST PARK

On the shore of Hervey Bay you can park out on the doorstep of Fraser Island. It’s in walking distance of the town’s shops, restaurants and boutiques. The park has a fully equipped kitchen with a pizza oven and BBQ facilities. You can bring your pets with you to this park, and enjoy a massive recreation room with games for everyone to enjoy.

NORTH STAR HOLIDAY RESORT

You can find this award winning Caravan Park on the Tweed Coast, located in the midst of an estuary and national parks. You’ll be able to enjoy over 10 hectares of subtropical gardens, playgrounds, pools, all of which is nearby Hastings Point. The park hosts a Marine Discovery Centre with plenty of exhibits to visit with the family.

NRMA TREASURE ISLAND HOLIDAY RESORT

This park is also located in the Gold Coast, and has a dedication towards creating a fun and exciting environment for kids. Family activities are planned by the park for the entire year. Some of the activities include arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, dance parties, outdoor movies and trivia nights.

Visitors can enjoy the pirate-themed waterpark or the resort-style swimming pools.
